LOGISTICS

Our cruisers depart from MANDURAH CRUISES JETTY, MANDJAR SQUARE. 

We are lucky to have lots of free parking in central Mandurah, very close by. We recommend the free all day parking close to our departure point, on Ormsby Terrace, Mandurah, but read this map for more options.

There is also a fast rail link from central Perth to Mandurah, and buses which head to central Mandurah from the station.

We operate daily, usually at 10am, 11.30am (lunch option available), 1.30pm and 3pm. Additional departures may also be scheduled, so select the day you want and then the times operating on that day will be visible.

Our main cruises, Mandjar and Dancing Dolphin are both wheelchair accessible (up to 71cm width). Substitute vessels may occasionally be used so if you need wheelchair access, please call us to check for the day you'd like to travel, so we can make sure your time with us is smooth and hassle free. Terms & Conditions
Mandurah’s dolphins are wild creatures viewed in their natural environment. While sighting them is likely, it may not occur on every cruise. Our Dolphin Guarantee ~ included free-of-charge in every Dolphin Cruise & Views tour ~ guarantees your dolphin sighting. Cruise as many times as you like until you see them.

Our crew will determine whether there was adequate dolphin sighting during your cruise. This will be confirmed to all guests at the end of your tour and noted in our records. It can also be checked retrospectively with our Booking Office. 

Should there be dolphin sighting during your cruise, the Dolphin Guarantee is not valid for return trips.

Should a dolphin sighting not occur and you wish to use your Dolphin Guarantee to return, you are free to make another booking within 12 months of your original tour date, subject to availability.

You may return as many times as you wish until you are on a tour where there is a dolphin sighting.

Return bookings must be made by phone – by calling our Booking office on 08 9581 1242. Dolphin Guarantee bookings are non-transferable and can only be made for passengers who made the original tour booking.

Once you are on a tour with adequate dolphin sighting, the Dolphin Guarantee is no longer valid. Should you wish to travel on our Dolphin Cruise & Views again, a new ticket must be purchased. As a customer, you receive a 10% loyalty discount for future bookings of any Mandurah Cruises’ cruise or hire experience.⁵

Our Dolphin Guarantee is only available for fully-paid bookings with Mandurah Cruises ~ not available to FOC Companion Cardholders. Each customer receiving the Guarantee must have initially booked our Dolphin Cruise & Views tour.

Let us take you out to meet the Australian Sea Lions off Jurien Bay; you can join the tour as a Snorkeler or Non Snorkeler.

Turquoise Safaris offers an authentic offshore Eco adventure specialising in smaller, more personalised groups exploring the Jurien Bay Marine Park and is operated by a Jurien Bay Local with the knowledge to ensure you experience the best the area has to offer.

All equipment including wetsuits is supplied, we have snacks, light refreshments and sunscreen on board also.

The minimum number of people required is 6, the maximum we carry is 15. We allow 2 hours for each sea lion tour.

We have a maximum of 45 minutes IN water snorkeling time.

We meet at the Jurien Bay Boat Harbour off Harbour Drive, One of our vessels will be parked up at the floating pontoon behind the information bay. Please be at the Harbour 15 minutes prior to departure of the trip.

Guided by a team of knowledgeable, passionate Astronomers our two-hour Evening Astronomy - Observatory Tour includes a twenty-minute presentation, laser guided tour of showcase constellations and unique stargazing session through our specialised scopes in our state-of-the-art Observatory - providing visitors with mesmerizing vision of celestial bodies, distant galaxies and cosmic phenomena.

Your ticket includes admission to the Gravity Discovery Day Centre for a self-guided tour.

Suitable for all ages.  Participants are reminded that they are responsible for their young children at all times.  Our location can get particularly cold in the evening - so remember warm clothing.

To maintain the integrity of our delicate Dark Skies, we kindly insist that participants DO NOT USE any light emitting devices such as phones, watches, torches, light up clothing.

Stargazing visits are held regardless of the weather. If viewing through the telescopes is not possible due to substantial cloud cover/excess rain, a fun and informative session will be held in the GDC Theatre and a "Cloudy Night Pass" will be issued allowing you to repeat/reschedule your Tour.

The Gravity Discovery Centre and Observatory works in partnership with Indigenous Tours to showcase cultural storytelling and Astronomy. Following storytelling the Indigenous constellations will be identified during a laser guided tour of the night sky, before moving onward to the observatory to gaze at the stars. The Gravity Discovery Centre and Observatory hosts an Aboriginal Storytelling and Astronomy night once a month. 

Public night stargazing visits are held regardless of the weather. If viewing through the scopes is not possible, due to inclement weather, a fun and informative session will be held in the GDC Theatre and a cloudy night pass will be issued (free return).

Walk with us at 'Karrgatup', the local Aboriginal name for Mount Eliza and Kings Park. You will learn of the hill's ancient past and continuing significance to Perth traditional owners, the Noongar people. Providing the opportunity to walk through the Park's beautiful native flora against the backdrop of the City skyline, this uniquely home-grown tour includes a Dreamtime story, traditional song and Noongar language, spoken by your Noongar guide and a chance for you and your group to experience our interactive cultural artefacts display, followed with Q&A.

Surrounded by an abundance of coral gardens, rocky ledges and intriguing dive sites, the Outer Reef or Muiron Islands are located about 20nm north east or around the west of Exmouth. Keep your eyes open during the 75 minute trip across to the Islands for ospreys, shearwaters, turtles, manta rays, dolphins, and during their migration, humpback whales.

We have a wide range of dive sites with a maximum depth of 20m, with the top of the reef at 4 to 6m deep and usually only gentle currents. The dive sites around the Outer Reef or Muiron Islands are suitable for level 2 snorkelers (over Six years of age) and divers. Swim-throughs and ledges provide plenty of places to search for shrimps, nudibranchs, eels, juvenile angelfish and other timid creatures. In mid-water and against the reefs look for friendly potato cod, large rankin cod, turtles, nurse sharks, soft coral gardens, anemones, clams and 100's of darting, colourful reef fish. Late in the year, manta rays grace several of our dive sites, too. A medical Questionnaire must be answered before taking this tour. Please contact us for full details.

Please Note - This Is NOT an Exclusive Snorkel Only Tour. There maybe scuba divers onboard too. Snorkelling is in open ocean on coral atolls rising from various depths and reaching within  2 to 6M from the surface. * Certified Divers must have a logged dive within the past 12 months to participate on our diving tours. If you do not have a recent dive, you'll need to complete a *Pool refresher with us before heading out on the ocean dives, or engage a private guide Booked in advance at an additional charge, for an 'On boat' *refresher 

* POOL Refresher sessions prior to the tour date, are a simple review of basic dive planning, equipment, theory and dive skills. These sessions usually take 1.5-3 hours and include time in the pool, so you will need to wear your bathers and bring a towel. We schedule our refreshers on demand at additional charges.

Discover SCUBA Diving

Our Discover SCUBA Diving Experience is perfect for those who do not have time to complete an entire PADI Open Water Course and for those who just wish to have a taste of diving.  The Discover Scuba Diving experience with us will include discussing some basic dive theory with your instructor, introduction to dive equipment and two boat dives. We will visit 2 different sites, the same dive sites that our certified divers enjoy so you'll know you are getting the best the Ningaloo Reef has to offer.

The D.S.D. course is suitable for everyone from 14 years old; those under 18 will need the written approval of a parent/guardian. You do need to have basic swimming ability.  

Diving medicals are not required to participate unless you have an indicator such as (but not limited to) asthma. A Padi DSD online Form will need to be completed at time of booking.

A 'Yes' answer may definitely require clearance from a doctor before you can participate, NO Doctors are available in Exmouth to clear you for diving and you will only be allowed to snorkel.

No refunds or monetary downgrades are possible on the day of the tour if you suddenly notify us you answered a YES on the DSD Medical form due to the assignment of Instructors and limited seats on the boat.. And it is the responsibility of the persons who book or are taking the DSD, to ensure every & each person in the party has completed the online DSD forms prior to the date of the tour, bringing a 'Yes" answer to the attention of shop crew at Exmouth Dive at least 48 hours before the tour date.

NOTE!! The PADI DSD Forms will be checked out on the morning of the tour by your Instructor, upon which if you answered 'Yes' will result in you not participating in the DSD, but you will become a snorkeller. No refunds or monetary downgrades are possible on the day of the tour if we find an answer 'yes' on the questionnaire and you will only be allowed to snorkel.

Advance bookings are essential for Discover Scuba Diving.  This includes the use of all the necessary equipment air fills, transfers from your in-town Exmouth accommodation and 2 boat dives.  We require a minimum of two participants to conduct our DSD program; in the unlikely event that we do not have a second person by 4:30pm the day before your scheduled date you will have two options: 1 – a full refund or 2 – you can pay an additional fee and have a private one-on-one session.

Join us for a half day sea kayak and snorkel Turtle Tour adventure in the wildlife-rich Bundegi Sanctuary Zone, in amazing Exmouth Gulf, amongst the northern stretches of World Heritage listed Ningaloo Reef. On our Turtle Tour, look for turtles in the shallows from your kayak; rays, baby reef sharks and birds including osprey are also commonly seen. TOUR MEETING POINT:
Pick up from Exmouth accommodation starting 15 minutes prior to tour start time. Tour start time changes daily depending on the tide. Some days may not be available due to unsuitable tides. Please contact us for daily tour times. Tour departures are subject to weather conditions and minimum numbers.

Your Day Begins...
With pickup from your Exmouth accommodation, starting 15 minutes before the tour start time on the day. The tour start time varies each day to work around the high tide, which gives us the best wildlife viewing opportunities.
You will then take the short 15 minute drive to the tour departure point; along the way your guide will fill you in on some of the interesting local history and points of interest. Once you arrive at the kayak launch area, you will be kitted out with all the equipment you'll need, and your guide will give you a paddle and safety briefing.
It's then time to paddle along the coast in this wildlife hotspot, looking for turtles, rays, schools of fish, and baby reef sharks from your kayak. Kayaking is a super fun way to explore Ningaloo! Your guide will be with the group at all times, to point out wildlife, answer any questions, and lend a helping hand when needed.
Depending on the day, you may head out for a snorkel from your kayak shortly after launching; or you may kayak along the coast spotting wildlife and then take a short break on the beach to stretch the legs, and enjoy a snack before snorkelling. Either way, once you slide into the water to snorkel amongst the coral formations, you'll be amazed by the incredible marine life at our snorkel site.
Towards the end of the tour you will paddle back to the launch site, and after loading the kayaks back on the trailer, begin the return journey to your accommodation. Your guide will farewell you with some memories to last a lifetime, and a promise to have photos of your kayak and snorkel Turtle Tour adventure uploaded as soon as possible.

YOUR DAY BEGINS...

With pick-up from your Exmouth accommodation starting just before 8am. We then take the journey into Cape Range National Park. Depending on the launch site for the day, this may take 40 - 50mins. Upon arrival at the launch site, you will get fitted out with all the gear needed for the day, acquainted with your kayak, and your guide will give a safety briefing before heading out for the day.

Snorkelling is included in this tour, and depending on the day this may be shore-based snorkelling (where we pull the kayaks up on the beach and swim a short distance from shore), kayak-based snorkelling (where we tie off to a mooring buoy or drop an anchor and slide over the side of our kayaks), or a combination of both!

The paddling and snorkelling are complimented with stops on the beach for morning tea and lunch, which are prepared fresh by your guide. We aim to provide healthy and delicious food; specific dietary requirements can be catered for with ample notice.

Your guide will choose the tour destination on the day to give you the best experience, depending on prevailing environmental factors such as wind speed and direction, tidal movement and swell conditions. We usually explore the lagoon areas between Ned's Camp and Lakeside or between Osprey Bay and Pilgramunna. 

No prior sea kayaking experience is necessary, our friendly guides will be with you every step of the way. You will need at least an average level of fitness to enjoy this tour.

Where Coastline Meets Countryside

Ballooning near Victoria’s second biggest city Geelong, offers a stunning blend of coastal and rural landscapes. From above, passengers can take in rolling green hills, vibrant farmland, the winding Barwon River, and the sweeping coastline of Port Phillip Bay. On clear mornings, the view stretches to the You Yangs and even across to the ocean.

Flights launch from a variety of locations depending on the wind - sometimes from within Geelong itself, or from nearby spots like Murgheboluc, Bannockburn, or across the Bellarine Peninsula. Every launch point offers a different yet equally breathtaking perspective of the region.

Balloon flights in this area operate year-round, weather permitting, although the high season with greatest flight availability is November through to March. It’s a chance to discover one of Victoria’s most diverse and picturesque regions in a way few others have.

In the Summer of 2017 and 2018, we started operations in Geelong a few times a week, weather permitting.  Enjoy the spectacular views from a balloon basket and experience this ancient sport in the Geelong area. We now fly regularly and plan to continue! Depending on the wind direction, we shall choose launch locations that keep us away from the bay and Avalon Airport, but trying at the same time to give you the best views at Sunrise that the day can offer. With arrangements now with the City of Geelong, on some days we even take off from the city parks themselves and this not only allows great views of the city but also of the bay and the Bellarine Peninsula. Flights are at sunrise so we meet early, normally one and a half hours before the sun comes up. In Summer this is as early as 04:30 a.m and in Winter 06:30. This early time allows us the best views in the early morning light and it also allows us to fly when the winds are light, which is ideal for ballooning.

We meet at Holiday Inn & Suites Geelong, 40 Ryrie St, Geelong VIC 3220. Where you can easily park your car. From here you will jump into our vehicles, which will drive you to the chosen launch site for that day. The inflation of a balloon will take approximately half an hour and passengers are welcome to help us with easy tasks, making the experience very interesting for those passengers who enjoy a bit of activity. Once ready, we will take off and fly for approximately one hour using the winds to navigate directions to a good landing site. The pilot will fly at different heights, sometimes low and slow, at other times nice and high to get the views and no, you WILL NOT feel height sick...trust us on that one. Ballooning is a gentle sport and, funnily enough, you do not have the feeling of depth which is what makes people scared of heights. It is extremely, extremely unusual for anybody to be nervous during a flight...it is more like "I don't know what I was worried about!!" kind of feeling.

After we have landed, we all help in packing away the balloon and drive you back to our original meeting location for a will deserved breakfast.
